ALL THAT glitters.Returning home from touring is always such a strange feeling. On tour, you go for weeks without knowing the date, or even the day of the week, for that matter. Drinking in a club at 2am on a Monday is acceptable and expected, and every night can be a party. Bedtime is around 3-4am and wakeup time is whenever the hotel finally kicks you out. You’re kind of removed from reality for the time being. It's a totally different culture. I try to cling to my everyday routines. I’m the first one up every morning, I go to the gym, have my coffee, answer emails, other mundane things. Try to keep one foot in the other realm. Getting back home and returning to the work and the hustle is still interesting. I’m just getting back into the groove of things. [the little details: old navy blouse, j crew blazer, anthropologie pants, old shoes, chanel necklace + misc. jewels] It’s definitely good to stretch your boundaries, see how far you can go, then occasionally reset.
